Epimax Ointment is formulated to offer intensive, long-lasting relief for individuals with very dry skin. Its paraben-free and vegan-friendly composition makes it suitable for sensitive skin types. The ointment can be applied during the day, used as an overnight treatment, or added to bath water as a skin cleanser. It is free from SLS, lanolin, gluten, and perfume, ensuring minimal risk of irritation.

Directions

How to use:

  • Apply to the skin as frequently as required, smoothing gently into the affected areas in the direction of hair growth.
  • To use as a body wash, use as required in the bath or shower.
  • To use as a bath additive, melt about 4g (the size of a £2 coin) in hot water and add to the bath.

Frequency:

  • Use as often as needed to manage dry skin symptoms.

Aftercare:

  • Store below 25°C.
  • Do not freeze.
  • Use within three months of initial opening.

Ingredients

Active ingredients per 100g:

  • Liquid paraffin 40% w/w
  • Yellow soft paraffin 30% w/w

Other ingredients:

  • Cetomacrogol emulsifying wax (contains cetostearyl alcohol and macrogol cetostearyl ether)

Side Effects

Possible Side Effects:

  • Rarely, mild reactions such as skin rash can occur.
  • Contains cetostearyl alcohol, which may cause local skin reactions or allergic reactions.
