Lecicarbon A Suppositories are designed to alleviate constipation resulting from factors such as low-fiber diets, lack of physical activity, or conditions requiring easy defecation. They are also utilized for bowel evacuation prior to surgical or diagnostic procedures involving the rectum. Each suppository contains sodium hydrogen carbonate and sodium dihydrogen phosphate, which react to release carbon dioxide. This gas gently stimulates the bowel, promoting peristalsis and facilitating natural bowel movements without causing irritation or cramping. The onset of action is typically within 15 to 30 minutes after insertion.
